SMS Terms
Pantry Route Delivery Notifications · Effective October 6, 2026
1. Program
Pantry Route Delivery Notifications, operated by PorSignal LLC on behalf of the Mosque Foundation Food Pantry in Bridgeview, IL.
2. Description
Text messages about a household’s home food deliveries: a reminder on delivery day, a notice when the driver is on the way, and occasionally a notice if a delivery was missed or canceled. No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Households opt in when they register at the pantry, on the registration form or verbally, and only households that agree receive texts (see SMS consent). Agreeing to texts is not a condition of receiving food.
Automated texts from the pantry’s number are not active yet. Until they are, a volunteer driver may text a household from the driver’s own phone to say they are on the way — never automatically, and never to a household that asked for no texts. To stop those texts, tell your pantry coordinator.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your deliveries: typically 1–2 messages per delivery day, occasionally one more if a delivery is missed or canceled.
4. Cost
Msg & data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
5. Opt out and help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You’ll receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to receive messages again.
